The teacher of the month has been selected at Fayette-Ware High School, and it is the ninth grade English teacher, Ms. Tess Miah.   She came to Fayette County Schools in August of 2011 and is still going strong.

Between 2004 and 2011, she taught at Manassas High School as well as at Elmore Park.  She taught a number of different subjects, but her main love is English.

Several students commented, “Ms. Miah is responsible, patient, encouraging and always willing to help in anyway possible.”

Congratulations to Miah for starting the school year off right and for working hard to make a difference.   The future is looking great for her and her students.

Congratulations to 6th grader Luz Ayala, 7th grader Jalen Chatman and 8th grader Jesse Teague at East Jr. High for being the Students of the Month.
